Dr. Shaver
Dr. Lynn Shaver is a proud 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University’s
College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally a small-town girl, Dr.
Shaver has enjoyed Houston since joining the practice in September
2010. Before vet school she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology
with a minor in Art at Texas Lutheran University in 2005.
Her first year out of school she worked at a mixed-animal clinic out of state.
Although she enjoyed working with cattle, she needed to get back to
the Lone Star State.
Dr. Shaver has enjoyed meeting the clients and patients at Southside
Place Animal Hospital and has a special interest in surgery. At home
she loves spending time with her two cats: Rabs, a gray tabby, and
Squeaky, an orange tabby. Dr. Shaver also enjoys art, outdoor
activities like hiking and running, watching her Green Bay Packers and
Houston Astros, and spending time with her family and friends.
