Modern technology now allows us to offer vaccines that are safer and more effective with less chance of a vaccine reaction. These vaccines are non adjuvanted which means they are highly purified with little or no chemical additives. At Southside Place Animal Hospital we modify vaccine protocols to your pets specific need based on exposure. You can be sure that your pet will recieve only the vaccinations needed to maintain a safe and happy life with you.

Dr. Frei started her veterinary career at three years of age when she rolled over a toad's foot on her tricycle. The foot healed and the toad lived many years in a planter on her back porch.
Dr. Frei was a registered nurse before completing her veterinary schooling at Tufts University in Boston. After working five years at a local Houston clinic, she opened Southside Place Animal Hospital in 1994. She has many pets, including four cats (two are diabetic), three dogs, six birds, three lizards, two bunnies, four turtles and about thirty fish. She also has a lively daughter. Their favorite hobbies to do together are camping, hiking and animal watching.
